A pair of early 19th century ouroboros hoop earrings, the snake heads set with turquoise and rubies. The earrings have traditional back to front fittings as typical of the era. Rooster head French hallmarks used between 1798-1809. 18 carat gold. Excellent condition with hoops closing securely.
